New Producers

Aron Scott is a young French DJ and producer. Born in 1993 in Pessac (France), he spends his childhood constantly moving from city to city, in and out of France. He begin to create music at the age of 11, and now, after 8 years of work, he is already supported by the biggest, like Armin Van Buuren or Sander Von Dorn. Beatheaven made for you an interview of this rising producer.

A little presentation ?

So, my name is Aron Scott, I'm 18, I produce music since I'm 10. I started to produce on a Playstation ( yes, it's possible ) and Rave Ejay. After testing Logic, Reason, Ableton, I definitively stay on Fl studio. Next, I started to buzz on the net under the pen name "Martin Skills" with my first EP signed at the age of 15, "Sweetness". This period being experimental I started again in a more serious way under Aron Scott. From then I was supported by big deejays producing as Roger Sanchez, David Vendetta, Chris Lake ... I made 2 beatport tops under this pen name with my track "The reason" co-produce with Dankann & Nathan Fenh, signed on the famous label Pink rabbit, and then with "AC" on Spinnin' Records. Moreover, nobody has found the signification of "AC", contact@aronscott.com for the proposition, I offer a track for the one who finds ! Now, I joined the Strictly Rhythm team ( Subliminal, Bob Sinclar ... ) and the sub-label CRM in which I participate actively  and with whom I signed an exclusive contract for 6 releases. 

What did pushed you to produce ?

Naturally, I started for sex, alcool and drugs ! Seriously, it was a defi that I had dashed to prouve to myself that I was able to live, later, of a self-taught talent, by my own work and my own reflection. I thus turner towards electronic music, because I wanted it to be a artistic profession.  And what kind of pleseaure I have, today, after 8 years of works, to export my track of a sequencer, be saying to me "that's of me". And when I post it on soundcloud, sometimes, people likes it !

Speak we a little about of your musics, your influances ?

I was good on influenced by the good old house and the french touch, Daft Punk, Mojo, Alan Braxe, Stardust, as well as all the electro/house vocal  period of 2009 ( Dim Chris ... ). Naturally, I'm a fan of the new french scene, Sebastier Léger, Cost, Arias, Doray, and as well by the swedish scene with Pryda/Cirez D, Albin Mayers, Avicii ...

According to you, what is your more succeeded track ?

Ma best original track, I would say that is AC : It is for me, in a way, my first real anthem, beside that, dub, so it's really cool. My best remix is for me the one that I made for Jeremy De Koste - Drive me Insane with my buddy Tom Sanders, I left in a point on that remix, moreover, it is the  most appreciated in all my discography.

Your currents events to come ?

April 19th, my next EP "Korea/Olympe" will be out on Camel Rider Music, and after, for the summer, "Korea" will be out in a vocal version, it's a feat. with the californian Singer Rico Caruso. A clip is also planned, it's a radio release. Next come an double EP, then a vocal and so on ! For the remixies I had finished two which are signed on 17:44 records : "Mo'Fo Rock" by Automann & Nick Waters, and "Trip to heaven" by Steve Kids & John De Mark Ft Vangosh, I don't have a date but I hope that they will move !There is also a remix that I made with Lokovski for a contest called "Move On" !
